Guest Lecture by Prof. Dr. Jafri Bin Din From Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan had conducted a general lecture on  Wednesday 7th of December, 2016. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Jafri Bin Din From Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is one of international partners of Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. As part of the partnership programme, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jafri Bin Din (Faculty of Electrial Engineering Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) visited Faculty of Industrial Technology Universitas Ahmad Dahlan and performed several academic activities such as research discussion and delivering general lecture.

The general lecture was started at 08.30 am and was attended by students of Electrical Engineering Department, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, and also post graduate students of Master Of Information Technology programme. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jafri Bin Din introduced Universiti Teknologi Malaysia prior to talking about his research interest, Wireless Communication.

Prof. Dr. Jafri Bin Din explained Wireless Technology in this general lecture. Wireless Technology makes use of electromagnetic waveinsted of wire as media to transport signals. Wireless technology is widely used in daily usage. After this general lecture Prof. Dr. Jafri Bin Din had research discussion with faculty members of Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.
